All employees of Prendergast Landscape Contractors, Inc. (PLC, Inc.) strictly adhere to the mission of designing, fabricating and installing high-quality decorative concrete products all the while maintaining the utmost in professional standards, ethics, and codes of conduct. All projects are overseen by the owner or manager and no concrete is ever poured without the homeowner/builder’s final approval of the layout. By doing as much, we at PLC, Inc. ensure thorough, meticulous handling of each project as if they were our own.  PLC, Inc. is fully insured and licensed under the N.J. Home Improvement Contractor's Law.

 About Andre:      

Andre Garrote is the Decorative Concrete Manager of Prendergast Landscape Contractors, Inc. Andre is a graduate of Neptune High School where he played Varsity soccer, golf and long-distance track. He studied Business & Finance at Monmouth University where he played Ice Hockey. He was born in Coimbra, Portugal but, at age 7, his family moved the U.S., settling in N.J. Andre’s parents worked long, hard hours to move he and his siblings to Monmouth County; his mother in restaurants and his father as a mason. Andre grew up around masonry and worked alongside his father once he started his own business as a teenager in what eventually became a lucrative commercial Belgian Block curbing installation business.

During and after college, Andre climbed the ranks at Commerce Bank from a teller to a customer service supervisor winning many regional and national awards along the way. As a long-term career, however, Andre decided to use his masonry trade skills and business experience to open Coastal Concrete Creations, Inc. in 2004. In August 2010, Andre left his company to head the decorative concrete division of Prendergast Landscape Contractors, Inc.  Andre regularly attends training seminars and continuing education courses to stay current on the newest concrete trends and products. PLC, Inc. reflects his commitment to exclusive and refined yet sustainable and eco-friendly designs in concrete.

Andre enjoys playing sports, spending time with his family, traveling, and ice hockey. He and his wife, Andrea, and daughter, Hazel, live in Monmouth County with their two dogs, Angus the chocolate Lab and Pee-Wee the black Pug.
